Trevor Klungseth has played over 1,100 games against three men
213 of his 222 tracked tournaments happened at Blainbrook, and 38 straight months have gone by without him missing one. The result is a set of rivalry records deep enough to be statistically boring, which is the point.

Most head-to-head records in competitive pinball are noise. Twelve games, a 7-5 split, and no way to tell skill from a good night. Trevor Klungseth has three records that are past arguing with.
- Adam Turgeson: 206-208 with four ties across 418 games
- Bryan Moen: 172-224 with five ties across 401 games
- Chris Frame: 117-166 with two ties across 285 games
That is 1,104 games against three opponents. The Turgeson record sits at 49.8%, which after four hundred and eighteen games means the two of them are, as near as makes no difference, the same player.
Why the sample is so deep
Klungseth has entered 222 tracked tournaments. Two hundred and thirteen of them were at Blainbrook in Blaine. He has 1,870 games and 715 outright wins in that one room, at an average finishing position of 2.10.
He has also not missed a month in 38 consecutive months, one of the longest unbroken entry streaks in the state. Three years of Wednesday nights against the same forty people produces exactly the kind of record above.
He sits sixth in the 2026 Minnesota standings on 203.56 points with eight wins on the series calendar, and he has 28 tournament wins and 90 podiums across his tracked career.
Doctor Who, and the 63-game answer
| Machine | Score | Win rate | Games |
|---|---|---|---|
| Doctor Who | 0.838 | 89.0% | 28 |
| Godzilla | 0.777 | 84.3% | 17 |
| Big Buck Hunter Pro | 0.746 | 76.6% | 23 |
| Bride of Pinbot 2.0 | 0.734 | 75.3% | 63 |
| Red & Ted's Road Show | 0.679 | 72.7% | 23 |
| Centaur | 0.677 | 74.4% | 15 |
Twenty-eight games of Doctor Who: 23 firsts, two seconds, two thirds, one fourth. An 89% win rate over that many games is the sort of number that decides whether anybody else on the floor is willing to pick the game while he is in the building.
Then there is Bride of Pinbot 2.0, where the sample runs to 63 games, the largest single-machine record in this year's whole top 25. Thirty-six firsts, sixteen seconds, five thirds, six fourths, a 75.3% win rate. Sixty-three games removes essentially all doubt.
The soft spots are shallower and all sit in the same corner of the hobby:
- Count-down, 0.437 over 17 games
- Captain Fantastic, 0.455 over 9 games
- Amazon Hunt, 0.475 over 10 games
- Nip-It, 0.476 over 19 games
Nineteen games of Nip-It at 50.9% and a 0.476 score, in a room where Nip-It gets picked a lot, is the exploitable line. The state's No. 1 has the same problem on the same machine, which says something about the game.
The rest of the record
Beyond the big three, his numbers against other top-25 players lean positive:
| Opponent | Record | Games |
|---|---|---|
| Phil Frazier | 94-72-1 | 167 |
| Jack Copeland | 49-35-1 | 85 |
| Rob Koppelman | 38-27-1 | 66 |
| Louis Acre-Kendall | 29-16-2 | 47 |
| Daniel Hammond | 19-7 | 26 |
| Jim Hartley | 9-0 | 9 |
Against Luke Nahorniak, the state's No. 1, he is 40-44 with a tie over 85 games. Only three players in this year's top 25 hold a better mark against Nahorniak, and none of those records run past a hundred games either. The full breakdown is here.
The players who trouble him are mostly outside the rankings: Nick Barker at 2-6, Tate Nahorniak at 4-10-1, Paul Madison at 3-5, Andrew Youso at 4-6.
What he has won
- Blainbrook Spectacular Matchplay, 44 players, March 2022
- Blainbrook Strikes 228, 42 players, February 2024
- Blainbrook Matchplay 13, 40 players, November 2022
- Blainbrook Mystery Matchplay, 33 players, August 2024
- Blainbrook Matchplay XIIII, 30 players, November 2022
Every one in Blaine. His most recent win was Blainbrook Summer Strikes #6 out of 22 in late June, and his best result away from home this year was eighth of 101 at the Kentucky Derby Tournament in May, which was the largest field the state has produced all season.
The current dip
Form reads cold: 47% over his last ten games against a 62% baseline. August was thin, with a sixth of 25 and a seventh of eight in the Blainbrook Matchplay #7 qualifying and finals. His points are banked; the dip costs him position only if somebody below him gets hot.
Scouting him
Keep him off Doctor Who and Bride of Pinbot at all costs. Those two carry 91 games of evidence between them and he wins three quarters of everything on them.
Take him to Nip-It or Count-down if either is free. Both are on the Blainbrook floor regularly, and both are games where 17 to 19 tracked games have him under half.
The scouting report does this comparison against your own record rather than against the field. The rest of the 2026 top 25 is here.
