Firepower pinball machine has 4 recorded tournament games in Blaine, MN. A game runs about 54m, the median of 4 timed games, so budget for that in a round with a clock on it.
First get all six standups in center complete. This will light the spinner and ball save. Now rip spinner and spell FIRE all day.
Hit middle standups (1 through 6) to light locks
Aim for the opposite side standup bank(forehand) to avoid dangerous returns to the outlanes.
Often you can make the top lock by plunging very hard. The ball will rattle into the lock if you're lucky.
Relight kickback by hitting 1-2-3 *or* 4-5-6 standups on same ball (think of standups as drop target banks, complete one bank).
Completing one bank lights kickback on left outlane, completing both banks lights 2/3 multiball locks. Do both a 2nd time for 3rd lock.
Apart from MB, completing banks builds bonus, earns lit kickback, lit spinner, and lit pop bumpers.
ONE bank lights kickback. BOTH banks light spinner, 2/4 pops, and 2/3 MB locks. BOTH banks TWICE lights 3rd lock, and 4/4 pops.
FIRE rollovers earn points, increase bonus, and bonus mulitplier up to 5x. Completing a set after 5x lights Extra Ball at power spots.
Completing Power(blue) Standup bank lights power lamp and inlanes. Each inlane then scores 3000 and increases bonus by 3000.
A set of FIRE rollovers lights FIRE Lamp. A set of Power standups lights Power Lamp. Lighting both scores and advances firepower bonus.
Like on lots of Williams of this era, the bonus is maxed out at 29,000 times 5x = 145k
Hit all the 1-2-3 4-5-6 targets TWICE to light two locks for multi ball. Save yourself some time that way.
